I was born in Wolverhampton to working class parents. I have had Tourettes since about age 5 which is not as severe as some (no I don't swear, in fact only about 1 in 10 of us do). I didn't do great at school but have been to college since and done quite well. I studied life drawing at Old Hall Street Adult College in my early 20s, but apart from that I am self taught. I was a heavy drinker up until 2011 when I quit. My work really took off after I finished drinking and I've worked steadily since then, hopefully learning and improving. I lean towards the surreal and bizarre imagery.
